Affiliated Community Medical Centers in Benson is seeking a Family Medicine physician. This opportunity offers the availability for a physician to do OB and c-sections. And it offers a guaranteed salary, signing bonus, production incentive plan, excellent benefits package, and an outstanding profit sharing plan. Full partnership offered after two years.
The ACMC network is a regional leader in West Central and Southwest Minnesota’s health care delivery system. ACMC is a physician-owned multi-specialty clinic system with 11 clinics that serve six local hospitals and approximately 103,000 patients annually. ACMC has 170 physicians and mid-level practitioners and features more than 35 specialty departments.
Benson ACMC Group Dynamics:
- 3 Family Medicine Physicians – 2 with OB, 1 without OB (current)
- 2 Nurse Practitioners
Work Schedule:
8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday
(1/2 day off per week)
(4 day work week available)
Call Schedule:
- Hospital provides 24/7 ER weekend coverage via Locum Tenens (Friday 5 p.m. – Monday 8 a.m.)
- Weekdays – 6 times per month
- Weekends – 1:6
Office Visits:
- 15 – 22 per day (average)
- Nurse Practitioners – average 12 – 18 patients per day.
Inpatients:
3-5 per day (average)
Births:
- 12 (2009) between 2 physicians (current); lots of potential for growth
- Deliveries performed at Rice Memorial Hospital, Willmar
- Full Time c-section coverage via OB/GYN at Rice Memorial Hospital, Willmar
