Affiliated Community Medical Centers in Litchfield is seeking a Family Medicine physician (with OB). This opportunity offers a guaranteed salary, signing bonus, production incentive plan, excellent benefits package, and an outstanding profit sharing plan. Full partnership offered after two years.
The ACMC network is a regional leader in West Central and Southwest Minnesota’s health care delivery system. ACMC is a physician-owned multi-specialty clinic system with 11 clinics that serve six local hospitals and approximately 103,000 patients annually. ACMC has 170 physicians and mid-level practitioners and features more than 35 specialty departments.
Litchfield Clinic Group Dynamics:
- 8 Family Medicine Physicians plus one Physician located in Dassel assisting with call responsibilities
- 1 General Surgeon
- 3 Nurse Practitioners
- 1 Physician Assistant
Work Schedule:
8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday
(1/2 day off per week)
Call Schedule:
- Weekdays: One weeknight every two weeks
- Weekends: every 10th weekend (Friday 7:00 PM – Monday 7:00 AM; admits only)
- 0-2 patient admits per day while on call
- Mid-levels cover ER from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Mon-Fri
- Hospital ER service covers from 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Office Visits:
- 20 – 22 patients per day (physician)
- 5 – 10 patients per day (mid-level providers)
Inpatients:
0 – 5 per day

166 in 2011 Six physicians currently do OB – New physician has choice of doing or not doing OB
Office Procedures:
Colonoscopy, colposcopy, vasectomy, joint injections, mole & cyst removal, fractures, lacerations
Obstetrics:
- Approximately 150+ deliveries per year.
- 25% c-section rate.
- 6 Family Medicine physicians currently doing OB.
- C-section coverage provided by General Surgeon and OB/GYN.
Support Services:
- Each provider has their own MA/LPN.
- RNs available.
