Affiliated Community Medical Centers in Granite Falls is seeking a Family Medicine physician. This opportunity also offers the availability for a physician to do OB and c-sections. The ACMC network is a regional leader in West Central and Southwest Minnesota’s health care delivery system. ACMC is a physician-owned multi-specialty clinic system with 11 clinics that serve six local hospitals and approximately 103,000 patients annually. ACMC has 170 physicians and mid-level practitioners and features more than 35 specialty departments.
Granite Falls ACMC Group Dynamics:
- 3 Physicians,
- 1 Nurse Practitioners
- 1 Physician Assistant
Work Schedule:
8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday
(1/2 day off per week)
*4 day work week available
Call Schedule:
- Weekdays – 1:3
- Weekends – 1:3
- *Call is for back-up only
- *0-2 patient admits per day while on call
- *24/7 ER coverage provided by hospital. ER physicians do hospital admissions, if needed.
Office Visits:
- 20 – 25 patients per day (physician)
- 15 – 20 patients per day (mid-level providers)
Inpatients:
0-10 per week
Births
- 63 in 2011 includes c-sections Performed by one Family Medicine physician
Office Procedures:
Colonoscopy, colposcopy, vasectomy, mole & cyst removal, fractures, lacerations. Closed circuit video available.
Obstetrics:
One physician currently doing OB – average of 25-30 per year. C-section coverage is currently provided by Family Medicine physician.
Support Services:
- Each provider has their own MA/LPN.
- One RN available.
