Affiliated Community Medical Centers in Willmar is seeking a Neurologist. This opportunity offers a two year guaranteed salary, signing bonus, production incentive plan, and an outstanding benefits and profit sharing plan. Full partnership offered after two years. Primarily an outpatient practice. Call responsibilities are very minimal – generally never get called during the night. Only one hospital to cover. Rural practice where a physician can see everything they want and only refer out when there is a lack of comfort. Typically see approximately 15 patients per day.

ACMC is a physician-owned multi-specialty clinic system with 11 clinics that serve six local hospitals and approximately 103,000 patients annually. ACMC has 170 physicians and mid-level practitioners and features more than 35 specialty departments.
Willmar Neurology Group Dynamics:
- 1 physician with interest in one-two associates
- 1 Nurse Practitioner
Work Schedule:
- 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday – Friday (1/2 day off per week)
- Integrated consultative practice at Rice Memorial Hospital (RMH)
Call Schedule
Call is not busy with only rare evening phone calls.
- Only 1 hospital to cover (RMH)
- Hospital consults seen at end of usual clinic day
- Average of none to three consults a week
Office Visits:
- 12 – 15 patients per day
- 20 minute rechecks
- 1 hour for new patients
Typical Patients:
Headaches, MS, Epilepsy, Parkinson’s – new-dizziness, dementia, etc., chronic-rechecks
Procedures:
EMG, EEG, Botox, Infusion Center to treat migraines and MS in department for monitoring
