Affiliated Community Medical Centers in Willmar is seeking an Ophthalmologist. This opportunity offers a guaranteed salary, signing bonus, production incentive plan, excellent benefits package, and an outstanding profit sharing plan. Full partnership offered after two years.
The ACMC network is a regional leader in West Central and Southwest Minnesota’s health care delivery system. ACMC is a physician-owned multi-specialty clinic system with 11 clinics that serve six local hospitals and approximately 103,000 patients annually. ACMC has 170 physicians and mid-level practitioners and features more than 35 specialty departments.
Willmar Ophthalmology Group Dynamics:
- 2 Ophthalmologists
- 3 Optometrists
Work Schedule:
8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday
(1/2 day off per week)
Call Schedule:
Call is very minimal.
- Weekdays: 2 (current)
- Weekends: 1 per month (current)
Office Visits:
- 30-35 patients per day per physician
- 12 patients per day per optometrist
Procedures:
- Primarily cataracts and glaucoma, basic retinal problems
- Advanced retina sent to St. Cloud, minor procedures done in clinic, other procedures done at Willmar Surgery Center
Surgery Days
1 day per week, typically done by noon
Outreach
1 day per month per one physician-currently in Redwood Falls
Support Services:
1 ophthalmic assistant and 2-3 technicians per provider

Argon and Jag lasers, HRT (Heidelberg Retina Tomograph – #2 advanced series) Visual field machine, Retina camera, Fluroscene angio, three auto refractors, corneal topographer
