Affiliated Community Medical Centers in Willmar is seeking a Pediatrician. This opportunity offers a guaranteed salary, signing bonus, production incentive plan, excellent benefits package, and an outstanding profit sharing plan. Full partnership offered after two years.
The ACMC network is a regional leader in West Central and Southwest Minnesota’s health care delivery system. ACMC is a physician-owned multi-specialty clinic system with 11 clinics that serve six local hospitals and approximately 103,000 patients annually. ACMC has 170 physicians and mid-level practitioners and features more than 35 specialty departments.
Willmar Pediatric Group Dynamics:
- 4 Physicians
- Interest in physician with experience in Adolescent Issues (eating disorders, psych, etc.)
Work Schedule:
8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday
(1/2 day off per week)
Call Schedule:
- Weekdays: 1 in 5
- Weekends: 1 in 5
- *Participate in Children’s Network Nurse Triage phone system.
Office Visits:
20 – 24 patients per day per physician
Procedures – General Pediatric practice
- Comfort level with neonates – neonatal umbilical line placement, neonatal intubations
- Circumcisions, lacerations, NALS certification required
Inpatient Admits:
- 0-4 per day (average)
- OB Level 2 Nursery at Rice Memorial Hospital (120 beds, 8 Bed ICCU)
- Attend scheduled c-sections (not routine repeats), high risk deliveries
Outreach:
- 1/2 day per week per one physician-currently in Paynesville
- Additional opportunities can be developed
